The Spanish Corner is a total-immersion language learning program for kids and their caregivers. TSC classes make learning Spanish fun for both kids and adults. Each unit is themed in a way that logically builds on itself and is easy to follow. The topics vary from session to session, each created with our families’ needs in mind.

The Spanish Corner’s mission is to teach families the Spanish language tools with which they can communicate outside of our classes. We teach high-frequency vocabulary that is easy to incorporate into daily activities. Our participants will come away well-equipped to engage in conversational basics from which they can continue to expand.

Each class is supplemented with online materials to reinforce the lessons. Families can review lesson notes and song lyrics, view videos, and print out activities such as conversation guides, DIY puppets, coloring pages, books, games, and more!

Owner/Teacher Kate holds a B.A. in Spanish and an M.A. in Teaching Spanish. Andreina holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of the Andes. Melisa holds a B.A. in Communication from the University of Cundinamarca. They use a variety of methodology to engage both children and their families. Immense thought and preparation go into each lesson to ensure that participants receive a quality language learning experience.
